Midleton CBS (07-17) vs Colaiste na Phiarsaigh (01-03)

Today CBS were ruthless in front of Goal, during a blistering day in Carrigtohill, the team scored from nearly every attack. The Full back line were very rarely tested, but when Andrew Murphy was called upon he was very powerful and Shane Dorney was immense in the centre half back, he snuffed all threats from the oppposition. Captain Jake O'Donoghue was very controlling in midfield with both Darren O' Driscoll and Stephen Beausang supporting him admirably. In the forward line every player was truthfully ruthless in front of Goal, especially Stephen Murphy who collected a huge personal tally on the day and was impressive in all aspects and Cian Greene was clinical in most possessions, when running at the Glanmire defense. It needs to be clear there will be far sterner tests in the latter stages of the Championship!!
