Caught Being Kind

Comhghairdeachas le rang 1B on the successful completion of the pilot wellbeing initiative “Caught Being Kind.” This initiative is the first of its kind in Midleton CBS, created by Ms. Ní Riain and ran for a 6-week trial period.
The initiative aims to build a more positive and affirming atmosphere overall by acknowledging simple acts of kindness. The recognition of such acts supports wellbeing, inclusion, and ties in with what we as an Edmund Rice school are all about - creating a caring school environment and community.
Thanks to Mr. Cooney, Mr. Sheehan, Ms. Hogan, Ms. Rea, Mr. Melnyk and Ms. Barrett who got involved in the wonderful project that we hope will extend to the wider school community next year. Míle buíochas to Ms. Ní Riain for creating and running the project and to 1B for taking part. Ní neart go cur le chéile.
