Darts Champion - Student Council Competition

We have a champion . The first ever Midleton CBS darts championship has officially wrapped and what a first championship it was!! Organised by our fantastic student council, the competition created a brilliant buzz around the school while raising funds for Cork Penny Dinners. 113 competitors from 1st to 6th year. Over 100 matches played. The final, held on the stage in the PE hall saw an electric crowd donate €2 to cheer on the finalists. After an exciting showdown, Adrian Mullane was crowned champion with a thrilling 5-3 victory over Adam Lewis. A massive well done to the student council for running such a large scale ever so smoothly and creating such a positive atmosphere in the school. 1st Adrian Mullane - One4All voucher (kindly sponsored by the Past Pupils Union), 2nd Adam Lewis One4All voucher (kindly sponsored by O’Brien’s Architects). Semi-finalists Adam Carey Power and Sean Dempsey each received a vouchers (kindly sponsored by SuperValu and Cornerstone Pizza). Highest Checkout Cian Moore Arc Cinema voucher.
