Tadhg Coleman Memorial 50KM Cycle.
On Wednesday October 3rd 2012, 80 Transition Year pupils accompanied by 8 teachers participated in a 50km sponsored cycle to Youghal and back as a memorial tribute to CBS pupil Tadhg Coleman from Killeagh, who died on June 4th last, just prior to the Junior Cert Exams.
The event was a tremendous success and a fitting tribute by both staff and pupils to the memory of Tadhg who passed away so suddenly.
Tadhg’s parents John & Ursula, his sister Kelly and his extended family are most appreciative of the efforts made by all participants.
A floral tribute was laid on Tadhg’s grave as prayers were said as part of the event at a stop-over in Killeagh.
Well done to all.
