Tuesday 06 Dec 2011 Corn Daithí de Barra - Fé-14 'A' - Hurling Championship

Glanmire Community College (3-5) vs Midleton CBS (3-15)

Glanmire CC grounds, 13:30PM

The Fé-14 Hurling squad had another victory in their final game of the group stages to add to their earlier comprehensive victories over St Colmans, Fermoy and Christian Brothers College Cork. This now places them top of Group A1 and they will now advance to the semi-finals of the competition, where they will meet the Runners-Up from Group A2. This game looks to pit the Midleton lads against Gaelcolaiste Mhuire AG, Cork with Rochestown College taking top spot in that group. We wish them luck

After Christmas this squad of players will also be preparing for the Rice Cup competition. The initial stage of this competition is played of on a 1-day blitz at a central location with top two teams qualifying for a Q-Final spot. See later for groups involved in the Blitz part of the competition
